There are some pieces of news we are never truly prepared to receive. It is with deep emotion and heavy hearts that we pay tribute to Florian Demonty, taken far too soon. His passing has left a profound sense of loss, not only within the club but in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Florian was much more than a member of TC3F—he was a familiar face, a constant presence, and someone people were always genuinely happy to see. Whether on the tennis courts or off them, he brought a sense of warmth and belonging wherever he went. Driven by his love for tennis, Florian never missed an opportunity to share meaningful moments with others, whether during tournaments or at club gatherings. His enthusiasm for the game was contagious, but it was only one part of what made him so special.
Beyond the player, it is the person Florian was that will remain etched in memory. He was a true friend to many—always smiling, sincere, and deeply kind. He had that rare ability to make people feel comfortable and valued, helping create the spirit that makes a club feel alive and human. His presence brought people together, and his absence is felt just as strongly.
We were fortunate to cross paths with Florian—to laugh, to talk, and to share unforgettable moments alongside him. For that, we will always be grateful. Today, an entire community mourns his loss, united in grief but also in appreciation for the time we had with him.
